PADI  Open Water Diver

Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course.

The PADI Open Water Course is the most popular scuba diving program in the world as this entry level certification allows you to explore all the oceans on the planet. You will get a lifetime PADI certification recognized in more than 175 countries.

Your PADI Open Water certification allows you to dive to 18m maximum depth with a buddy of equal or greater experience, in conditions that are as good as (or better than) those in which you learned to dive.

The PADI Open Water Diver Course program is structured to teach you how to dive safely. You will complete 5 self-study classroom based knowledge development sections from the PADI Open Water Manual.  These sections will be reviewed by your PADI Instructor at our diving academy classroom and as part of this training you will be shown how to plan your own dives and record the experience in your personal dive log book.

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.

You will complete 5 confined water sessions in the swimming pool, you’ll learn buoyancy skills, how to complete comfortable ascents and descents, breathing and how to stay warm underwater and streaming your swimming skills.
